 y a small group within the patriarchy but it wasn't always this way. For t
 housands of years power was treated differently within matrifocal societie
 s and Goddess\, in her many forms\, was the source of power. What brought 
 about the change? In this workshop we will look at how patriarchy has take
 n control through the oppression of the many by the few\, we will explore 
 the nature of power\, consider the ways in which women use power and creat
 e alternative visions for the future and the action needed to achieve thes
