David is the founder of the Pagan Awareness Network Inc, and started the public full moon circles in Sydney's Seven Hills that have run continuously since 1997. He is 38 years old. Although being raised a Roman Catholic and a regular at the Church until the age of 14 as an alter boy. He soon found that after a discussion about graven images and idol worship with the priest, this was not the place for him. His Italian Grandmother who used to read playing cards first sparked his interest in Tarot and things that were Magickal.
David has been practising earth based Magick/religion since 1986, starting his path as a healer, Tarot reader and psychic, leading to his interest in modern Paganism and then to formal Gardnerian Wiccan training.

James Layton (Vice-President)
James has a knack for business and jumped at the opportunity to sit previously with the PAN committee as treasurer. This Year with the vacancy in the position of Vice President James thought he would step up for the challenge. James' experience in Witchcraft is limited to only a few years but he has a strong interest in learning more about the craft.

James designed the current website

Samantha McNall (Treasurer)
Samantha believes that all people should be able to express their beliefs in an environment of freedom and tolerance. She feels that organizations like PAN Inc are vitally important as they help to dispel myths, and therefore remove some of the fear that breeds prejudice. This paves the way to religious freedom for all. Her personal studies cover a wide ranging area including comparative religions and philosophy, and she has a consuming interest in the western mystery traditions. She has studied Spiritual Healing with the National Federation of Spiritual Healers (NFSH) in the UK, and is also a Reiki healer. Although she refers to herself as pagan, she does not adhere to any dogma, choosing to be more organic in her approach. Her desire is for her spirituality to continue to grow and change along with her, for the rest of her journey through life.

 Gillian Eshman (Secretary)

Gillian has been following various Pagan paths for the last 10 years. She is a trained Reiki Master and is a follower of Egyptology. She has a strong interest in Mythology and Meditation. She is also passionate about the building of knowledge and wisdom within the Pagan Community. Gillian has also travelled around Europe and the United States where she enjoyed visiting the sacred sites of each country.

Lidia Colagiuri (Committee Member)
Lidia was born and raised in Sydney, as a Catholic, of Italian & Dutch parentage. She was introduced to Wicca by a dear friend in 2001 and after some consideration found this to be her path.
Lidia is also a student of energetic healing

His pagan interests includes elder gods, ancient/modern mythology, ritual magic, ceremonial magic, Celtic, Arthurian and Egyptian deities. Darren has been formally trained into the Gardnerian tradition. Darren looks forward to helping other pagans through PAN Inc, and bring the pagan community a little closer together.

Cassandra Le-Grand (Committee Member)

Cassandra is a graduate of BSci/BTeach from the University of New England and is about to start her journey as a teacher helping students of secondary sciences to keep asking questions about the world around them. She is an avid reader of World mythology and loves especially to research the myths of Ancient Egypt, Greece/Rome, Asia, and also those of Celtic and Norse origins. Other than mythology she soaks up any and all theories concerning the sciences particularly Astronomy and Geology! Her main goal is to keep asking questions and never make a decision without first finding as many facts about it as possible (for one can never know all the facts, as most are not yet known). It is through this desire that she first chose the fork that would lead her to paganism in her teenage years and is continually growing and changing as she furthers along her path.

"The strongest principle of growth lies in human choice”

George Eliot, Daniel Deronda

Gavin Andrew (National Media Officer)
Gavin Andrew is a Melbourne pagan and author.
His interest in the esoteric began as a teenager, when he found a book warning against the dangers of the occult. At university, he met a Witch who taught him the Tarot and the basic skills of the Craft. The rest is history.
Gavin first came to prominence (or notoriety) in the Melbourne Pagan community with the release of his ‘Diary Of A Witch’, an account of the 2001 Euphoria Festival. He has been an active member of online communities such as the Witches Workshop and Witches Of Melbourne for many years.
In 2003, when the now-infamous religious vilification case erupted in the City of Casey, he was offered a Contact position to create a point of presence in the area. In January 2004, following a resolution of the PAN Inc Committee, he accepted the position as the first Victorian Coordinator and now the National Media Officer. He is currently near completion of his first novel for young adults. Titled ‘Witchling’, it follows the journey of a psychic fifteen-year-old and her awakening as a Witch.
He lives in Melbourne’s South Eastern suburbs.
