An interesting piece of information has been received from the Magick Happens team. Apparently a major prize has been hidden in one of the showbags that are being given out at the door on a first come, first served basis. Threats have been made If the nature of the prize is given away, but if you find a toy mask in your bag, please approach the Magick Happens organisers immediately to claim your prize. The rest of the bags have been stocked by witches with an inventive sense of humour. (The organisers take no liability for incidents arising.) Remember, doors open at 10.30am.
The workshops with an asterisk are locked in - the others may be subject to change according to the needs of the day.
Special Note: Phyllis Curott, best-selling author and priestess, has indicated that she would like to appear at Magick Happens, if her Parliament of World Religions schedule will allow. Her presence is not locked in yet, but we have made space for her in the timetable. Keep your fingers crossed!

Description: The black circus comes to Melbourne, bringing you a night of heathen passion thinly veiled behind velvet, silk and leather.
Come and dance with the internationally renowned Spiral Dance and Wendy Rule. Also appearing are The Stiletto Sisters, burlesque dancers, and various strolling performers, as they lead us to a dark world where the magick of the night comes alive. Finger food will be provided, and drinks are available on the night – this is a licensed event.

Pagans across Victoria are celebrating the Bracks Government’s decision to repeal Section 13 of the Vagrancy Act, which prohibits the practice of witchcraft and fortune-telling.

This day long event showcases goods, services, entertainers and information from the various spiritual, holistic, Earth honouring, and Magical communities, companies and individuals from all over Australia, and even overseas. Magick Happens provides a great opportunity for these individuals and organisations to mingle with the community at large and promote their products and services.
