| Name: |
Gavin Andrew |
| Position: |
Media Officer |
| Bio: |
Gavin Andrew is a Melbourne pagan and author. His interest in the esoteric began as a teenager, when he found a book warning against the dangers of the occult. At university, he met a Witch who taught him the Tarot and the basic skills of the Craft. Gavin first came to prominence (or notoriety) in the Melbourne Pagan community with the release of his ‘Diary Of A Witch’, an account of the 2001 Euphoria Festival. He has been an active member of online communities such as the Witches Workshop and Witches Of Melbourne for many years. In 2003, when the now-infamous religious vilification case erupted in the City of Casey, he was offered a Contact position to create a point of presence in the area. In January 2004, following a resolution of the PAN Inc Committee, he accepted the position as the first Victorian Coordinator and now the National Media Officer. |
